This morning came a little abruptly… my student called me at 5:15 am asking if we could move the workout to tomorrow, since he was up all night and was too tired to train. This was good, because I too was up all night and was too tired to train, so I mumbled something that could possibly have been an expletive at him and reappointed my alarm clock to my normal work time.
This gives me, at best, three hours of sleep for today.
So I get to work, and I am again being ignored beyond belief, so I took it upon myself to begin working on my Masters Project code for this week. This has been SUPER productive, as I am almost done with one of the more difficult modules of the whole system. I have moved up development of the modules that are entirely new and exciting to now, and am pushing back rewriting some of the old hat stuff that I am adapting to this system. The reasons for this are twofold: one, I’m lazy and don’t like rewriting code and two, I’ve been super psyched about this templating system now that I can see the pieces wanting to fit together.
Anyway, I had really vague recollections of a dream I had last night, it mostly involved some sort of ritual to keep something very evil from coming to power (friggin’ Harry Potter books, jeez), only instead of involving wands, my subconscious elected the less ambiguous SPAS-12 combat shotgun. Fun stuff, to be sure.
