Last night we went over to my parents house to do laundry and see their newest purchase: a 11-week old Golden Retriever puppy. The dog answers to the name Care Bear, which is only about 40% homosexual sounding for a male dog. Dad wants to refer to him as Bear, since their other dog’s AKC name is AJ Remington Kodiak.
Either way, this dog is so damned cute. I will defer additional gushing until I have images to post to prove my point.
Tasha and I succeeded in getting most of our laundry done last night. We had picked up some new queen-sized sheets for our bed at a sale at Sears and we finally got around to washing them as well. This enabled me to use them in combination with my new Super Awesome pillow that I purchased at the same time.
I know this sounds strange, but I am not a new pillow kind of person. I cling onto them until they are ratty, gross, and flat. After last night, I will never be like that again. This morning I am not only rested, I have energy! It was as if my pillow was blessed by the Pope for added awesome resting power! Thanks to the additional size of the queen sized sheets, I also awoke still covered up!

As a result, we registered for 2 more gloriously expensive feather pillows at Target.
