Whoa. I was reading on the GenCon website as part of a balanced workday, and I noticed that they’re doing something called the “True Dungeon” this year that allows nerds and nerdettes the ability to run around in a real-life D&D campaign setting and do stuff as their characters would.
I have no idea if our intrepid party of adventurers is going to do this or not, but it does sound like an interesting prospect. I get the feeling that this years GenCon is going to be overflowing with free D&D swag as it’s the 30th anniversary and they’re likely to go, as

Alas, it seems we needed tickets in advance, and as of May 21, they were 80% sold out.
We will simply have to settle for beating up people with backpacks and hotdogs, calling them “hill giants”.
Extra XP awarded for the smelly ones, but you may take CON damage.
