12.5 days??! Do you lose all your vacation time if you don’t take it or something?

Or do you just work in a state job? 😀

Technically, our shutdown occurs from 12/24 to 1/2. I am tacking on the rest of my vacation time (which is use-it-or-lose-it), so I will be taking a half-day on 12/21 and two full days off on 12/22 and 12/23.

Then, when I come back to work on 1/3 I will have my new year’s allotment of days off, which is 10. And after April 11th, I get two personal days to use whenever I like.

*This* is the good part about working for a company where people is a focus. They give you time to be a people.

thats right people, skip lots of karate. Only 19 more days, then I will be back, and I hope you are all as out of shape as me.

You’re the only person I know that defines “out of shape” as “can no longer break the sound barrier when running the mile”.

Nevertheless, we’ll be waiting. 🙂

i can still run 3 miles in 18 minutes, but I feel out of shape for karate because i havent been doing it nearly enough basics. I still do a bit of kata every chance I get, which is rare, but I do alot of sparring, it isnt alwasy that helpful, but it has helped me maintain fluidity and intuition, so it isnt a complete waste.
