Right after practice this morning (and I mean RIGHT after), I went to the DMV to get my sticker renewed. Erbe-san informed me that their weekend hours are until noon, and this being the last day of the month I knew there would be a line. So there I was, in my gi, waiting to get my sticker renewed.
An hour later, I was back out on the street. I went home and changed clothes and then went out to Verizon to get my cell phone repaired. I was expecting major headaches and a long wait there, but Matt (high school acquaintance) tried to fix my phone and when it wouldn’t fix, he gave me a replacement refurbished phone. It was in better shape than my old phone, the only downside being that I had to redownload my USS Enterprise ringtones. No big deal, I can handle that.
I got home and saw that Tasha had left me a check to go get some heartworm medicine for Teddy, so I put him in the car and we drove to Washington. Unfortunately, we were out of luck and the vets office closed at 12:00. We arrived at 12:20. So we drove back, I grabbed some McDonalds, and then I took a two hour nap.
On deck tonight: dinner and Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy with the wife. Good times.
