Saturday’s workout got off to a slow start.
Tonight’s workout was a nice mixed bag. We hit basics, sparring, and kata but I was having a hard time getting into the groove tonight. I don’t know if it’s been the overabundence of work lately or what, but its been hard to get a good feeling off of a workout these days. I feel pretty worn out during most of the first class and I don’t usually start feeling good at all until partway through the second class. Most times I could go for 10-20 minutes of sparring after class but neither venue is very appreciative of extra time after class.
This is probably just one of those natural downturns that everyone goes through once in awhile, I’m still looking pretty solid for reaching my goal of 156 workouts this year so long as I keep at it. I just punched a few numbers and it seems that I am actually ahead of the pace to hit my goal, which is a good thing with the holidays coming right up on us. More training will get me there!
