as long as the tank and the bowl aren’t broken in some way, replacing the seals and the tank hardware is cheap. ~$25 in part to replace everything inside the tank and the seals, and about 30 min of work once you understand what needs to be done. I replaced it all in my guest bathroom not to long ago :)
