As I mentioned earlier, I came home to get ready for karate and right as I was walking out the door Tasha noticed that something was wrong with the Myth.
There wasn’t any listing information, so it wasn’t aware of programs to record for tonight. I tried running the application that refills the database from the listing service, but I had forgotten that they were discontinuing the specialized listing service that I had subscribed for.
So I had to switch the listing service back to Zap2It Labs DataDirect. I made the changes, but realized that my account had expired. So I signed up again and it took about 10 minutes for the account to propagate to the web service. It finally worked and the database filling application ran through just fine.
So all was saved, and we didn’t miss any of our nightly programming.

Dude, that’s weird….. Sarah was reporting a similtar problem with my SageTV just last week. Now, granted, I didn’t have to change listing services. And I think mine was because my network card drivers got corrupted and I couldn’t get to the update server.
BUT WHAT ARE THE CHANCES
The chances are quite slim. Please forgive the question, but why do you have so many corrupted driver problems on that thing? It seems that happens to your Sage more than I’ve ever heard for a normal Windows system.
Is there something funny that has to happen for Sage to do its thing or what?
That’s actually the first driver problem I’ve had, although I have had frequent issues with the Sage in general.
It HATES running a later JRE than what it was shipped with. That was some of my problems right there. And it’s probably better if I don’t mess with the video codecs. And the alpha version community-made menu and commercial-skipping system.
It is a little less stable than I’d like, but it’s not SO bad. I’ve noticed it breaks less the less I tinker with it.
