My sister cut my hair on Wednesday night, and about halfway through she started making the noises that she usually makes when she has something to tell me but she doesn’t really want to.
I knew what she was going to say, but it came out something like this: “Uh… I don’t know how to tell you this… but you’re really getting thin in a few places up here. This is about the time I recommend Rogaine to my clients.” I asked her about some specific locations… she used the term “baby fine” to describe them. We’ve had an agreement for a long time that when it gets bad enough to notice that she would tell me and I’m glad that she did.
She’s completely right. I’ve noticed it getting increasingly sparse up there over the past six months and its about time to do something to save my languishing hairline. Once it gets to “creative combing” stage I’m just going to go Lex Luthor on you all. Just be prepared for that day… hopefully it is still far off.

Dude: You will still be mighty – even with less hair. You will certainly kick Sampson’s ass.
Why not do a test run just to prepare the rest of us – shave it all off once so we can prepare ourselves for that eventual day. I know you’ll do the right thing.
Hm…if you go all Lex Luthor does that mean that your team lead does too so that all the people on your team have the same hairstyle?
And leave him alone Dave. I thought his wonderful wife already convinced him that he needed to save the time he has left with his hair and not shave it off until it was necessary.
Losing hair — yea… **sobs**
That’s my plan for if I start to go bald, too. This is also why my hair’s long right now, because I don’t honestly know how much longer I will be able to have hair. Plus it’s like a perma-hat.
You guys will get to see quite enough of a buzzcut when I’m older. I have a few more years of shaggy left in me, unless work tells me otherwise.
At least you have more hair then my dad? XD
I’ve heard several reports that even though rograine does grow new hair, that that hair is very course and brittle; prone to easy breaking.
