I am pleased to report that my annual review went well. Very well. I got a very good rating (a 2!) and a promotion to IT Analyst II. And I didn’t even have to make a case or fight a battle to get it done.
I’m thrilled right now… it almost hasn’t sunken in yet that the process did its job for me. My supervisor was extremely complimentary of me as well… which was a little bit weird to have her actually come out and say she was pleased with my work.
All of this goodness is effective April 1st. It really makes the last year of effort, headaches, and frustration worthwhile. At least for awhile.

Dude… I am not even worthy of your sweat. Your smelly feet could outcode my entire brain right now. You are a patron saint to those of us who topped out at 3A – once – years ago.
But all kidding aside – that’s the way it SHOULD have gone so I’m glad it did.
*Sniff* I’m so proud of my kid brother and kid sister… they both did a great job working for the man…
Now turn our attention to getting Brother Vernon his dream job photographing D11′s.
