Doing some surfing around last night, I found this site that has recreated some signage from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
I’m probably going to incorporate this in my case modification, however I don’t know anything about making decals or printing on an acryllic surface. I’m posting this in hopes that

I don’t know about printing on the case itself (with all the uneven parts I doubt any printer would send it through a machine). The closest I can think for that is auto-painters, or auto-decals.
Any sign-maker will print vinyl decals for you, from no-color laser cutouts to 4-color (which means anything your heart desires, since everything printed is made from 4 colors). Pretty cheap, too.
You might even get one of those places to cut out the plastic of your case itself. Don’t know if the laser would melt it or not. Laser cutting is huge in design, both paper and interior, right now. Cost– don’t really know.
I really really want to borrow that movie from you. Or better yet, watch it on your bigass tv. Let me know when you guys are in the mood again. Giggidy.
Brian says Midwest Screen Printing. That’s who his work uses to screen print some cover plates for different products. He can give you a name of someone to talk to if you want.
I’m pretty excited about this, it looks like that actually has a contact for me in this vein. I’m thinking I’m going to scrap the front acryllic section of my case and replace it with HAL.
