For some reason, the downstairs bathroom has been bothering me lately. It is screaming out “PAINT ME.” Tasha and I bought the paint for the room around the time that we painted the kitchen, however we ran out of ambition shortly thereafter. Its really a one person job, so I may spend part of tomorrow taking down the wallpaper in there and seeing if I can clean up the walls.
It probably won’t take two hours to paint the thing, because you can hardly turn around in there.
The hard part will be painting behind the toilet, the tank sits very close to the wall and I generally don’t know how people do that. Maybe some Googling will help me out.
Tomorrow night also marks D&D, and barring any misfortune my laptop should arrive during the day too… so I’ll have plenty to keep me busy.

Well it sounds like you are gonna have to dismantle the toilet a bit. But if the shutoff valve hasnt been turned in a while the rubber may be crap and then you get a leak from behind the toilet. But if you drain the reseviour then you can unscrew it and get behind there.
And wallpaper? After many different techniques I finally got a Wagner®
Power Steamer 705 Wallpaper Remover and that made the wallpaper come off like buttah!
My wallpaper was irritating me in my little bathroom, so I got the bright idea to take down the wallpaper and repaint. My bedroom had peeled off so easily that I figured it’d be no problem. However, in the bathroom, as soon as I started peeling, I saw what they had hidden with the wallpaper – lots of deep scratches and small holes. A whole weekend of mudding and sanding the walls and it was finally prepped and primed, and then the bathroom needed to be put back together for weekday use and I lost all ambition to finish it. Don’t assume a quick and easy job just because it’s a small room. You never what you’re going to find under the wallpaper.
