Yesterday, we noticed that my dog had a smallish hot spot on his back leg. For those that don’t know, its basically psoriasis that gets compounded by chewing and licking. We didn’t think too much of it, Teddy had these before and they cleared up on their own.
I came home from work tonight and noticed that most of Teddy’s right back leg was bare. And gross. I called the vet’s office and they recommended that we bring him in for an appointment tomorrow at 4 pm. I’ve got a special training thing to do tomorrow morning at work, but luckily the last half of my day was clear so I can take the dog to the vet.
Four and a half day weekend here I come!

Best wishes for Teddy. Our dog had leg gland problems. I always made the mistake of NOT asking ‘so how much is this gonna cost’ which probably made the vet think I was a good pet owner because damn the costs my dog was gonna get fixed. Well until they billed me after the procedure, and the one time they doubled my mental estimate and I blurted out the first thing to come to mind. Oops.
