Mystery Shoes

Or maybe some sort of fungus.
I noticed this pair of dilapadated shoes sitting on the partition between Swingers World and the parking lot next to my building this morning. I thought they were fairly amusing at the time, but what I found even more amusing was that they were still there this evening when I left.
I don’t know whose shoes these were/are, but I do know that they spent a LOT of time next to an establishment of ill repute. And Swinger’s World.

I have to visit your fine building a number of times a week, and my walk takes me behind Swinger’s World. I’ve started greeting the people who come out the back door with a cheerful “Hi! How’ve you been?” as if I knew them from somewhere. I’ve gotten a number of nervous looks. There are some places you don’t want to be recognized…
