I take exception to your use of the word diatribe… According to dictionary.com, a diatribe is “a bitter, sharply abusive denunciation, attack, or criticism”. Your take was only mildly bitter and it was certainly not “sharply abusive” to say the least.

I instead propose it was more of a peeve. Not a pet peeve mind you – but a peeve none the less.

Ahhh – I’m just messing with you. It can be a diatribe if you want it to be.
