We did a few Sochin and it amazes me how good that kata still feels after several months of light use. I firmly believe in training kata like we did last year if you want to make sure a kata embeds in your psyche and never leaves. It might not have looked as pretty as it did at the end of last year, but that kata still FELT awesome.
I’m looking forward to hitting training again hard this week, my motivation is finally starting to return. Now, if I could only shake a few of these nagging physical problems I’ve had the last few weeks maybe it would come all the way back…
