As for the kumite, we’re going to do the same thing, starting with basic kata drills. We’ll change up the techniques to add variety, and work our way up to slow and free sparring later in the year.

Do you guys mind if I join you while you’re doing Tekki Nidan? That’s one I havn’t quite learned and really need to. [I promise not to make you guys slow down for me/distract you from your goal]
pleasseee?
No problem… but why stop there? You can join us for the whole thing if you want to.
I probably will.
But since one of my kata’s is Tekki Nidan, I’m going to really want to practice that. And I don’t want to get cought up in a bunch of other kata’s when I have other kata’s to be working on y’know?
But def expect me to be joining you guys still along the way. I like learning kata’s ahead of time too.
And especially the Tekki ones, those make my head spin.
