So Tasha and I went to Ted’s Garage here in Clinton, and they had a prime rib special for lunch. I decided to go with that, the waitress asked me if I wanted the Queen or the King cut. I wondered for a moment how many straight men would voluntarily order the Queen cut as I ordered the King cut, and twenty minutes later I was astonished when she brought out our food.
The prime rib was about the size of a standard steak, but it was at least an inch and three-quarters thick. AND there was a baked potato and green beans (yech) to contend with. I don’t know what kind of seasoning they used on the steak, but it was truly excellent… just salty enough (probably kosher salt, it tasted similar to how my burgers have been lately) but it had some hickory smoked excellence to it…
Needless to say, I’m extremely full right now and I’m thinking a nap might be in order!
