Today I got a hodgepodge of things done! I made the rounds to Facet Computers to pick up a replacement power supply for Sensei Brewer’s computer, and then over to 14th Street Hardware to pick up some replacement screws and new faucet knobs for my upstairs bathroom.
Upon returning home, I fixed Sensei’s computer (woot!) and moved on to the faucet knobs. I shortly realized that one of the valve stems was limed up a bit, so I actually got a chance to use my tap and die set to re-tap the valve stem so it could accept the screw. It worked great and now I can turn my upstairs shower on and off again!!
If it stays dry, I’m going to try to put my upper level shutters back on the house! The lower level shutters and our new front porch light and mailbox look excellent, Tasha and her brother did a great job on them while I was away!

Thanks for fixing the home computer for my parents! Its been a real hassle for them recently. I tried to set up the laptop but they missed all of their other stuff on the the main computer. Our computer luck, I tell ya!… Thanks again!
You’re welcome!! It was fun to get to do a little hardware troubleshooting, and it was nice to have an excuse to come to visit with your parents.
