Tonight I dodged the rainstorm in time to deliver Sensei Brewer’s computer. I ended up staying for a few hours talking, which makes me wonder why I don’t take the time to make social calls on him more often! He wants to send the word out that he’s planning on teaching the second class tomorrow night, so be there or be square!
Aside from that, I saw some awesome lightning. Too bad I didn’t have the D60, I’d love to figure out how to shoot lightning (not like this). I might have to figure out how to do that someday.
For whatever reason, I am sick of working already this week. I need to get more motivated, I think tomorrow I’m going to go for a full court press and make the most of my non-meeting time.
That’s all I’ve got for now!

Next time you head out this way, feel free to drop by. I live in the same subdivision as Sensei Brewer, over on Venado lake. You’re more than welcome to stop by anytime!
I also live on good ‘ol Venado lake – as it appears do most of your readers… But don’t visit – we don’t like you THAT much.
Oh – and here’s a good starting point on photographing lightning:
Rule #1 – Don’t get hit by lightning.
If you can follow that rule, this article will help you a wee bit more: http://www.dphotojournal.com/photography-tips-how-to-photograph-lightning/
