I am so impressed with Windows 7 that I am going to convert my MythTV system to a Windows Media Center system and get it back up and running. I’m impressed with the UI, I’m sure the hardware support is going to be better, and I can use my Xbox 360 as an extender.
Both Tasha and I miss having a digital video recorder and I can get much better support for a HD tuner with a Windows system. I’ll probably do the rebuild over the weekend, hopefully it will go smoothly. I’m going to need to go out after a wireless adapter for this system though… it had been plugged into my router, which had more ethernet ports than my current router.
A small price to pay for being able to watch TV whenever we want again!
