It was a year ago today that my grandpa died, and I thought it fitting to take a few minutes out today to remember him. I’m having a very hard time coming up with the right things to say here, so I’ll refer you all back to the post I made a few weeks after he passed away. I put a great deal of thought into this, and it all holds true today.
As I mentioned in recent blogs, I’ve been missing him a lot lately. I’m trying to remember him by doing woodworking projects, and eventually I hope to work up to being able to turn a bowl like he did. While I was doing my ukulele project, I remembered quite a few woodworking lessons that he taught me over the years and I think he’d be happy about that.
For a better and much more eloquent remembrance, see my Mom’s Facebook page.
