Tonight we had the Sears technician come out to look at our whole house fan. He couldn’t find a part number so he didn’t charge us and left, but he conjectured that a lone light switch should fix the problem. I have procured said light switch and will make an attempt later on this week before the inspector shows up.
That, and I’m not done cleaning yet. We’re close, but not done. Our bounty of realtors show up tomorrow, so I’d better be done by 6:30 pm tomorrow or else I look like a giant bum and I sell my house for $0.03 on the dollar. For some reason the termite inspector did not show today, I suspect it is due to my inability to select the right day from Google Calendar. I bet he shows up at 4:30 pm tomorrow.
Today we did accomplish a great deal. Tasha did an excellent conversion on the kitchen and it is cleaner than it has ever been so long as we have lived here. I cleaned the back porch, which is now emptier than it was when we moved in here. I even washed the windows. We got new curtains in our kitchen, and Teddy got all new water and food bowls, and a new mat for those to reside upon.
I have taken a brief break to blog before the midnight deadline, but we are going about the business of putting the remaining boxes into closets since we are practically out of storage space in the shed. I will be so happy when this process is over.
At this point I would rather have the inspectors come and find hundreds of dollars of things wrong with the house, because that I can easily repair with little to no effort on my part.
Tonight was the return of Heroes, which Tasha and I have recorded. With any luck we will celebrate our completion of cleaning with that three-hour premiere. Woot!
