That using variable names like “gazumablat” does not a.) endear him to his audience, and b.) make the ideas he’s presenting any more clear.
Also, a personal pet peeve: people that call * “splat”. It’s either star or asterisk, dumbass.

I bet he calls ! “bang” too.
We used to have this one CS teacher here that looked like Billy Bob from Showbiz Pizza. We assigned him the internal moniker of “Uncle Country Bear”. Anyway, he was fond of naming variables things like VINCE_CLORTHO.
That is correct. ! is bang. I think this guy got beat up a lot as a kid.
Give this to him and he’ll be your best friend forever.
But make sure you lay down a tarp first!
PS If I didn’t know any better, I would swear that was an obfuscated perl script that printed out a 1978 calendar filled with ASCII images of Judy Garland.
