I usually get pretty introspective near the end of the year, and 2005 is no different. Among the high spots were passing my Nidan test, achieving my goal of over 156 workouts, and getting to see New Orleans before nature blew it to smithereens.
I feel like I’ve done a good job at work this year, making major strides in making my systems better. My wife has come into her own at work this year also, becoming the preferred instructor for many of her classes.
Its Resolution Time! This year, I intend to:
* Maintain the same level of dedication to karate by working out at least the same amount as this year.
* Infuse my training with more specific focus on things that will sharpen me for my Sandan test (better to get ready now!)
* Get out of debt. Tasha and I want to leave a pile of chopped up credit cards behind us this year.
* Help Tasha reach her diet and workout goals for this year.
* Work hard and get promoted.
* Continue enhancing my MythTV/home theatre setup.
That’s all I have for now… I may come up with a few more but for now it will stand right there. I may refine the karate related one based on some input from other dojomates, but that will come later.
