This Saturday I began taking some leftover Met-RX Protein Supplement. This stuff tastes like Strawberry Quick, only it is the consistency of gloppy snot.
It is disgusting, however after Saturday’s workout I was fine. After previous workouts that I did 20 or more Sochin kata, it took me a full two days to heal up properly. After taking the additional protein supplement, I noticed that I was feeling just fine in time for tonight’s workout.
So I decided to choke down another 16 oz of this disgusting crap in hopes that it will continue to speed the recovery process. I’m definitely switching to the chocolate whey protein that I tried at Sam’s earlier this month. It tasted so much better than what I’ve got.
