One of my favorites websites, BoingBoing, reported a few possibly fake photos/videos of the supposedly newest iPod Video that may come out.
This thing looks sci-fi cool, and I seriously would love to see this in person.

Man, you are wayyy behind the times on this one.
those images have been out there for weeks, if not months now. When they were first released, they were accompanyied (sp?) by a disclaimer that they were a person’s “conceptual” vision of what the a new Ipod might look like. Given that context, I’d say they are 100% fake. However, I do think it looks cool as hell. My only reservation about it is how fragile the current Ipods are. A dust bunny could scratch the Ipod screen. Imagine how bad it would be if you were rubbing your fingers on the screen all day.
Seems like yes, I am behind the times. I hear the newer iPod models are better for scratch resistance, however I really dig the concept of this interface.
