This week we saw two very good rank exams in Mapleton and Pekin respectively. Everyone that tested did an excellent job, we like it when tests are generally easy to judge. 🙂 I got the opportunity to lead the pre-test class for the Pekin dojo, which was fun. I don’t recall getting to do that before. 🙂 Sensei Brewer was nice enough to give the black belts an early Christmas present: a wall scroll that had “Karate-Do” written on it in Japanese. It will look great in the red room! Thanks to Sensei Brewer for the gift… it means a lot to be recognized this way, especially considering that many of us couldn’t be happier helping out throughout the year the way we do. Thanks!!
Special post-test congratulations go out to our very own
PS: I was able to get a handful of Sochin done during these two workouts, chalking up 10 kata.
