Last Thursday,
I got the biggest kick out of the dads that were sitting along the sidelines trying to learn the techniques too so they could help their kids. I couldn’t help from giving them a few small pointers as I passed down by that end of the class, I think its really good when parents want to help their kids in their activities and aren’t just sitting there dreading it the whole time.
I don’t know if its OK to have them join in the class, but that would be really neat. Having my Dad in karate with me has been great over the years and I think every kid should have that at least for awhile.
As mentioned before,
I missed the Saturday workout this week… something I am eating is putting me out for the count on Saturday mornings… I’ve woken up sick the last few weekends and I think it is the combination of greasy pizza and high amounts of sugar that is doing it. This week looks pretty clear though… I don’t have any major impediments to training for a change. We’ll see if that holds up!
