Rest in peace, Gary Gygax…

I am sad to echo the news that has been circulating around the media today… The Father of Dungeons and Dragons, Gary Gygax, passed away Tuesday morning at his home in Wisconsin.

Thanks to , who gave me his original D&D sourcebooks, I had a reason to seek out Gary at last year’s GenCon. Gary was a very friendly guy who genuinely seemed to care about the people that loved his creation so much.

I have gotten a lot of enjoyment out of my roleplaying hobby, and Gary is entirely to thank for that opportunity. I hope he enjoys his next campaign in the afterlife!
