Mother’s Day and another huge pile of work…

Happy Mother’s Day, Mom!!

Tasha and I went to see Iron Man last night with Scarab and her boyfriend, what a great movie! Tasha and I said that we would’ve sat through another showing of it again immediately after the one we saw that we liked it so much. I think it firmly beats out Spiderman 1 as my favorite comic book movie thus far.

We were up entirely too late last night, which caused me to sleep right through Church and… well… far into the afternoon. Naturally, this pretty much screwed my ability to not be working all evening tonight, I spent two hours on my annual review documents before our Mother’s Day party and have spent two since.

As we speak, my lovely wife is proofreading my review documents for spelling, grammar, and other atrocities to the English language. Since doing a good review document is key to securing a decent rating, she doesn’t mind donating a few hours to the cause of making my accomplishments shine just a little bit more. She’s so great!

I didn’t quite get my project work finished this weekend, but I think drawing the line at 55 hours is enough effort for one work week. What isn’t done now can wait until tomorrow and maybe it will be a quick fix and it will still be on time. The world won’t stop if it isn’t… nobody’s going to die so I’m not that worried about it.
